Summary: Disappointed how loud the fan is. SATA connectors much too tight. Packed poorly in factory box. First and last for a Cooler Master power supply for me. Corsair power supply is a much more quieter and better build quality power supply.
Summary: I can understand previous reviewers who believe this to be a quality product, and also those that have paid extra money than they normally would in order to have a performance product. Generally Coolermaster produce items of variable quality in my experience (having used many of their products over the years). My Coolermaster Hyper 212 was a decent CPU cooler, but horrible to fit in comparison to other similar performing coolers.
Summary: I bought this PSU at twice the cost I would normally spend because I wanted quality and low noise. The case is very well built and the cables are at a high standard. But this PSU gets very hot under load. The fan at normal running conditions is quite loud, the loudest fan in my case. While running prime95 for about 2 minutes the fan goes into overdrive. The noise is unacceptable to me and indicates the PSU is heating up to such an extent the fan needs to run at full RPM.
