Summary: Overall it's a very nice PSU. It's got some weight to it, so you know it's good. Just 2 things that annoyed me, first, the fan is a bit loud but it's not the kind of loud that makes you want to rip your hair out. Second, the 24 pin and the 8 pin power connectors are SHORT!!! So if you have a full tower, make sure you get extensions. You might have trouble with Mid towers too. But that's all, great PSU other than that.
Summary: This is my fourth Cooler Master PSU. Very happy with the other three, they are still working well, but this GX 650W is too loud. My HTPC requires a PSU with less than 300W (according to the calculator on Cooler Master's website), but I bought this GX 650W because it was only $60 at Amazon and has four stars. I couldn't believe the low price so I quickly hit the 1-click button before the price went up (it's now $80 (Oct. 2011)).
Summary: I had a powersupply die in a four year old system and decided on this product to replace it. Installation and cabeling was very straight forward and easy. The power supply comes with ample cables and ties for installation. After hooking everything up, my machine was alive once more, and all was good. The one complaint I have is the noise. This is NOT a quiet power supply.
Summary: Pros: Once I got this power supply working properly, it ran quiet & smooth with plenty of power. Cons The power supply had an internal issue where a plastic flap which separates internal components was dislodged and in the path of the fan. Upon starting the box up, it sounded like someone had placed a baseball card inside a bicycle wheel.
