Summary: While I can forgiven many flaws for this PSU because it's pretty cheap, I just can't understand why it marketed as a quiet PSU (< 20dBA).
Pros: Dual rail 12V that has 18A, enough to power typical machines. Voltage doesn't change much during high load recorded by Everest Ultimate. Good airflow with 120mm fan. S...
Cons: Pretty noisy even across the room. Other connectors aren't sleeved. Only 3 SATA connector. Efficiency is a little bit above 70%, which is low compare to today's PSU. N...
Summary: I have this in my computer since January of this year and it has been performing flawlessly. My computer has 3 hard drives and a CD burner plus a DVD drive.
Summary: Been using this CoolMax PSU on my newly built computer that has Intel Dual Core E2200, 2 700GB SATA drives, 1 20X DVD writer, 1 CD-ROM, 1 PCI-e graphics card.
Summary: For about 2 months now this PS has powered a decent midrange system with; ====================================================== MAINBOARD_: KA3 MVP Socket AM2
Pros: quiet fan, ample power for a midrange or slightly higher end system, 2-12V rails, inexpensive, Short Circuit Protection
Cons: Some cables might be a little short for large cases, no modular cabling, efficiency is low > 70%
Summary: This is a very solid power supply from a good name vendor. 600w is plenty of power for almost all applications (multiple HDs, multiple DVDs, etc.) as well.
Pros: 600W, lots of connectors (SATA, PCIe, etc.), solid brand
Summary: This is a great PSU, powerful, quiet but cheap. My newly built system works flawlessly with this 600 watts of power. Basically, i am not worrying the heat problem.
