Summary: Did I get a defective one? Does anyone else have jammed socket covers? A nearly perfect designed... and then flawed with those awful covers. Maybe I can get some of them to open/close with a screw-driver and a hammer, but who wants that mess?
Pros: Long cord. 12 outlets. 3780 joules. Slim-line size. Only $20
Cons: All 12 outlets have slider protectors to keep dirt and objects out of unused outlets. 2 of my outlets are permanently jammed open. 3 are permanently jammed closed. 3 don't "click" open (nor closed) but just "randomly flop around freely". None of 12 cover all 3 prongs of an outlet. Really, Belkin?...
Summary: Seems to work great, although it's never had a surge to put it to the test. I bought this one specifically because my antenna cable could be protected. I was a little worried that it may distort my picture, but I didn't see a bit of difference.
Summary: A solid economical performer with enough Joules to fight off those Electrical Storms especially when chained to other protectors. Use with desecration and never just rely on this unit as your firewall against mother nature.
Pros: Solid well designed surge protector. If you are going to plug expensive electronics into anything don't waste time plugging into the dirt cheap ones. The angled plug makes it easier to fit onto the outlets in my house.
