  • Summary: I was either going to get a similar Seasonic 860 Platinum or Corsair AX860i (same thing really), but then I saw this one - again, Seasonic appears to be the OEM. Two features I found interesting was to not bother to make the 24-pin modular (seriously, why bother?
  • Pros: Modular Cabling, Very High Efficiency, Basically Silent
  • Cons: Ugly sticker ruins the look when oriented to intake through the bottom of the case.

  • Summary: Premium quality. Well thought out with components and build quality that can only be described as premium. If you're like me then you're looking to buy a power supply with the full intention of not having to buy another one for 10+ years, this is the one you want.
  • Pros: Amazingly well built. Superbly well packaged with a numerous assortment of sleeved cables. This psu screams Premium Quality. Almost completely modular. Delivers smooth consistent power. Fans can be plugged right into the Power Supply. A switch for single rail or multi-rail power. Sexy. Can a psu ...
  • Cons: Seagate's 860 Platinum offering is fully modular and costs about 20-30 dollars less. Other places offer this Dark Power Pro for $30 less, so go hunt and price match. I certainly did.

  • Pros: German design, Seasonic manufactured, Lots of cables of different configurations, modular, fan connectors, high efficiency, top quality parts
