Hardware Secrets

  • Summary: It is very clear that be quiet! is trying, with the Dark Power Pro 10 series, to create the most flawless and complete PC power supply series available on the market today. The cable configuration of the 850 W is the most complete possible, allowing you to install three high-end video cards out of the box. The single/multiple rail switch puts an end to the endless discussion of which configuration is better: you simply choose which one you think is better.

Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 850w

XSReviews

  • Conclusion: The Dark Power Pro from Be Quiet is a pretty solid package. It’s got good rails with an excellent efficiency rating as well as being almost completely silent making it an excellent choice for those trying to assimilate their PC into their lounge entertainment area. It does have a couple of niggles with the 12v not being the best, and the price being a little high but the full feature set more than makes up for the price with the 12v rail being far from the worst out...
  • Pros: Looks great, Stable and tight rails, Excellent efficiency, Modular cabling and noob-friendly labels and colour coding
  • Cons: 12v rail isn’t as impressive as we’d like, A bit expensive for some
