Summary: I'm either going to have to replace this thing. Very disappointed.
Pros: seems to be solid
Cons: The SATA plugs are too wide. It is impossible to plug in a data cable after you plug in the power cable Which basically renders this thing useless. The SATA plugs are a pain to plug into the power supply.
Pros: Everything is working great. Comes with a lot of cables. Definitely seems to be a very high quality product. Very very quiet. Lives up to the name! Not "very big" as other reviews mention. It's actually about 1/4" shorter than my old thermaltake.
Cons: No cons as of yet. my system is not yet 100% operational though. Waiting to connect the other video cards. I haven't had Internet in weeks and I want to make sure I download correct drivers on my new system first. So I'm waiting on time warner. No doubt it will handle what it's advertised to handle.
Summary: This unit is super engineered. It may be overkill for a lot of systems but like RAM it never hurts to have more than you need.
Pros: No complaints. Installed in my ThermalTake case and it fit. It is a big power supply, but it has every possible connector one would need. No issues running 5 hard drives and 2 graphics cards in SLI mode. If the case lights were not flashing, I would not know the computer is running. I really don'...
Cons: The thing weighs quite a bit. But that should come as no surprise given the engineering that has gone into it. Mounting it could be a problem, but in my computer case, the supply is mounted at the base so it was not an issue.
Summary: Being a 1200w supply it is obviously large, so make sure it will fit in your case. Other than that, its perfect. I had a high end 850w in a top of the light gaming machine and for some reason the PSU fan would get so darn loud whenever I played any games, even when temps were all rather low.
Summary: Totally worth what I paid for it. I have no question that this solidly built power supply will do whatever I ask it to. Like their automobiles, the Germans have crafted another high quality product here. With smaller wattage models, these power supplys can fit nearly any need.
Pros: -Lots of power -Good efficiency -Very quiet fan, even when ramped up it is not too loud -Tons of cables and options -Auxiliary fan headers built into supply -Ability to go single or multi 12v rail
Summary: installed the unit immediately after receiving it, and I am pretty impressed, 1200 Watts is ample for most high end video cards in crossfire or SLI configurations, while also being extremely quiet.
Pros: Quiet, Powerful and plenty of spare cables
Cons: Motherboard cable is attached to unit, which is also quite thick.
Summary: the winner for me is the be quiet fan. Its super quiet, just what i wanted. It was a tossup between this and the corsair 1200i but the corsair fan is a niosey beast and you have to rely on the corsair fan management for quiet operation.
Summary: Amazing PSU with ALOT of connectors I've not even worried about my computers power draw or the number of speerate power cables I have running through my box but this is a great product highly power efficient and strongly recommended for any serious computer user
Summary: This PSU certainly lives up to its name: extremely quiet even under high loads. It comes with a large selection of modular cables, enough to power multi-GPU systems with many IO devices, but without cluttering your case with unnecessary cables.
