Summary: ASUS U-75HA uses a different project from ASUS U-65GA, achieving a better performance. From the three power supplies offered by ASUS, this one is the best.
For what its intended target audience – mainstream users – this unit provides a satisfactory performance, with efficiency between 83% and 84% if you pull between 150 W and 450 W from it, dropping to 82% at 600 W and 79.2% at 750 W.
Summary: As it's our first ever power supply we've tested from Asus, I find the U-75HA to be a fairly decent performer. In all our tests, both idle and load, there were very little fluctuations on all of the +3V, +5V and +12V rails. The power supply was soild and stable. For a 750W power supply, I have to say ... its not bad at all. It passed our "240W Peltier" test, which is pretty extreme to say the least.
What makes the Asus U-75HA so appealing is its brand name.
Pros: - 750W output, - Very good quality, - Very good stability, - Four +12V rail @ 18A, - SLI and Crossfire Ready, - Certified 80+
