Apevia ATX-IB680W-RD 680W Iceberg Power Supply Review
27 May 2008
Conclusion: In the now highly competitive market of high wattage power supplies, companies need to look for new ways of differentiating themselves from the competition. Apevia looks to have muscled its way in with something dramatically unique. In the right case, the Iceberg Power 680 will certainly turn the heads of observers, while at the same time, turn on those power hungry gaming rigs. Visually and functionally the unit is very well refined, leaving little room for criticism.
Pros: One of a kind looks, Sleeved cables, Easy Molex disconnects, Near silent at low RPM, Pushes lots of air at high RPM, Tri-Color fans to fit any case theme, Very long peripheral cables, Case modder friendly
Cons: Only 4 SATA connectors, No Active PFC, No modular cable format
