Summary: the 120mm fan seems to have a piece of plastic attached to the under side, via tape, from what i can see, this is protecting a wire from getting stuck in the fan.
Pros: Power supply came packaged great, new egg box, with a box inside it, with some air bubbles, shipping label, box was mint. inside the box i see, a Apevia ATX-CB700w users manual, a Power supply wrapped in plastic, cables are nicely wrapped as well (black wire loom), twist tie holding them together, power cord, well packaged.
Cons: Updating previous comment. I just measured the power level that caused the first unit to fail = 534w average sustained load, peak 540w. It failed at about 8 hours sustained. I would derate this to 450w for sustained loads, 500w burst load. PS- LOUD = 61db measured.
Pros: The black case with blue accent light was a nice compliment to my tower.
Cons: Terrible buzzing sound during gaming. PC would randomly reboot when under gaming load for lack of power. Would not run a single gigabyte gtx 570 much less sli like it claims. Came as just a PSU in bubble wrap. No box, no power cable, no screws.
