Summary: Most people will consider a surge protector as an afterthought investment. We can all use extra outlets and the surge protection is an added benefit, until it isn't. Surge protectors that use MOVs merely divert the surge and hope for the best.

Summary: The Internet service installer said to get a surge protector for theirs & my routers. I asked what kind. He said get ACP. I found this on Walmart online, half off. Bought it, stuff worked when plugged into it. So far so good; is a lightning strike or surge gonna happen??
