Summary: I recently purchased this product because my APC back-up battery that I had for over 4 years needed replacing; and I am assuming the 6-outlet wall mount with phone protection will suit my back-up needs in case of a electrical outage. This is the first trial run, but if I read the overview product correctly, it should be a life-saver. I am a small business entrepeneur who continues to work from home on the essentials of a start-up company, all information is important.
Cons: No warranty card included. It is necessary to send it in within 10 days of purchase for APC's Equipment Protection Policy. I had to contact APC to make sure I was covered without sending it in. But I think it is APC's fault, as I believe the package just doesn't include it.
Pros: Roomy outlets (easily fit six devices if need be). For the price, and the quality, it is a great deal. I own two currently, one for my PC (950 Watt power supply) and the other for my screen and other devices. Although it dose not supply a supper amount of joules of protection (it is rated for 1000 joules), based on some research I did before purchasing, anything offering 600 joules of protection or greater is sufficient for home appliances and electronics.
Cons: The green indicator led light can get annoying if it is located in your line of sight when working at a desk or when in bed.
Summary: I love these 6 Outlet Wall Mount Plugs, I would recommend them anytime. I love them basically for three reasons. First they are are surge protectors. 2nd informs users of potentially dangerous wiring problems in the wall circuit. 3rd that the plugs are on the side (which is why I bought them in the first place. I would recommend them forever. I am planning on buying more for the whole house.
Pros: The design of placing the plugs spaced out on teh sides is perfect. Almost any power cord or adaptor should work with the side plugs. Very solid build and the ability to screw it into teh socket screw hole means it will never pop out when trying to insert tight plugs or when pulling it out (you should still use two hands on any plug removal but the screw helps immensely).
Summary: I use two of these in my kitchen area - so I have accessible surge-protected outlets from behind the fridge outlet, and also on the other side of my stove where I like to use a vintage Sunbeam T20 toaster often - but want to be able to turn the outlet off when I am done (toasters should never be left plugged in when not in use) -
Summary: These are GREAT little surge protector strips! APC has a WONDERFUL warranty and these work really well! They are nice a compact! Outlets are easy to access and spaced nicely. Very nicely priced, too! Will purchase again!
