Excerpt: I bought this to protect my edit computer and hard drives form summer brown outs. Lucky haven't had to use it but when I tested it I was able to safely save and power down. Hopefully I wont need to use it.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Long Lasting Power, Quiet Operation
Excerpt: I have been using the unit for a couple of weeks now for my computer, two screens and a phone. No issues so far. Have not had any power failures yet, so do not know how the unit will behave then. That is the reason for four stars: too early to tell if five stars are warranted.
Pros: Adequate Power, Easy To Set Up, Quiet Operation, Small Footprint
Excerpt: This is the best price/performance UPS available. The display shows available load in real time. Four outlets are available each for battery backed up power and filtered only power. One of their best products at a GREAT price from BH Photo.
Pros: Adequate Power, Easy To Set Up, Long Lasting Power, Quiet Operation, Reliable Performance, Small Footprint
Summary: I read the reviews before deciding on this product. Easy to configure. Comfortable small size. Stylish and quite. Most of all it worked on a small 5 second loss of power without any problems within the second day of usage. I like that I can monitor the power coming into my computer, as the electric company does not provide clean monitored electricity.
Excerpt: Plug it in and check-it out has read outs for Voltage in/out, wattage in use, time remaining and several other useful bits. Alarm can be silenced and run warm not hot. Doesn't stink like the cheapo-ones you get at the warehouse stores. Has protection for ethernet/cable and power. Tested out quite well on battery with around 1 hour at 100W in use. Plugs are angled with ground out to sides not down.
Pros: Adequate Power, Easy To Set Up, Long Lasting Power, Quiet Operation, Reliable Performance
Summary: I am a tech with 17 years of experience. I only use APC. While this unit does not provide a perfect sine wave, 99.9% of uses are fine. The more expensive $300 and up APCs do provide perfect AC replication but are nonessential in all but the most critical apps. OK, enough GEEK talk, Pros 1. Great for entertainment systems and PCs in power shaky Rural areas. 2. Keep your maximum power draw under 500watts on this. 3.
