Summary: I first purchased this for my folding @ home rig with dual video cards x58 i7 920 all water cooled with 2 loops and everything slightly overclocked. The first month I was worried I had too much power draw with my over clocking, but the PSU was barely warm.
Summary: I don't know how the RMA process is at antec but their customer service was legit, ya heard meh?!?
Pros: Bought this off someone, it came in an eentire rig setup. sadly that rig didn't have all the modular cables and the person who sold it to me did not either. I called Antec and they sent me a set of modular cables, no questions asked, for free. All they asked for was my address. The power supply w...
Summary: I plan on replacing this power supply soon for the safety of my computer, but I just wanted to make a testament to a strong power supply. I will include Antec in my search for its replacement.
Pros: Has never failed on me. I have used this power supply in 2 different builds of my own and tested more than a handful of other builds with it as well. Cureently Powering a dual-channel i7 setup w/ 4GB of ram and a 4780HD.
Cons: While I have never experience any major cons, I have heard they have poor customer service and a bad RMA process. Summary: Have been using it almost daily 4+ hours a day for 9 months. Runs an i7 930, and two xfire 5870s in crossfire, plus a two HDs, and four 240mm fans without a hitch. Every Antec PSU I have ever owned is solid.
Pros: Relatively quiet for such a high wattage. Plenty of connectors, easy install.
