  • Excerpt: It could be said that Antec has been "waiting in the wings" as far as getting a large capacity power supply to market. While other companies have been offering 1000W and up power supplies for over a year, Antec's largest offering has been a 650W that, at least in our testing, couldn't put out it's rated wattage when run in a hot environment.

  • Summary: Antec TruePower Quattro 850 W is a though competition to . They are both could really deliver 850 W at 50° C during our tests, both can be found at the same price range and both are manufactured by the same company (Enhance Electronics) – using completely different designs, though. Both achieved a very good efficiency, with the reviewed model from Antec achieving above 85% when we pulled up to 80% of the power supply capacity.

  • Conclusion: The retail packaging managed to contain plenty of important product features and specifications, which would prove helpful for retail buyers comparing items off the shelf. The 80 PLUS logo is also a helpful push towards the check out stand. A semi-gloss black base coat with bright yellow racing stripes really help add flare to the PSU chassis.

  • Summary: La línea Quattro de Antec es sin lugar a dudas fascinante, ya que con solo 2 productos, más precisamente la TPQ-850 y la TPQ-1000, cubren ampliamente la demanda de potencia de los últimos sistemas extremos, inclusive a la hora de montar configuraciones SLI o CrossfireX en conjunto a micros Quad de alta gama overclockeados.

  • Conclusion: La Antec TruePower Quattro 850W es sin duda una fuente de alimentación que posee todo lo necesario para un equipo de última generación.  Cuenta con una eficiencia sobresaliente , que se observa en sus ajustados  voltajes, sosteniéndose incluso bajo carga de trabajo notable. Sus múltiples conexiones hacen que pueda ser colocada en equipos de lo más exigente.
