Pros: I write this review just 2 weeks shy of my PSUs 8th birthday. With 95% up time, and at least 70% of that being under load... that's a heck of a lot of hours on this beast, and it's still kicking booty and taking names.
Cons: They don't sell it anymore. It's big and I remember needing a shoe horn and a mallet to cram it into place.
Pros: This PSU continues to be a champion. I purchased it in 2008 and I'm still using it. It's run everything I've thrown at it and had extra to spare. On this alone, I will be buying another Antec PSU without blinking.
Cons: It has so many cables that I didn't need to use about 30% of them. I wish I could have removed them to tidy up my case.
Summary: I would of liked more SATA power connectors instead of the excessive amount of molex connectors.
Pros: Good variety of cables, great power supply. Never had power related issues.
Cons: SATA Power connectors are not of good quality. I've had 3 connectors break on the top side from very minimal contact. I never used excessive force especially after my first one broke and they just keep breaking.
Summary: I have always thought highly of Antec, but after the mess that I went through with troubleshooting and replacement of many parts due to PS failure, I am looking at other options for future customers.
Pros: It worked for a year before any problems. Support is fast and friendly
Cons: I was sent a new one after it went out on the 2nd year of use, and a year later it went out again. Each time it went out it caused many other problems and parts to be replaced, and I junked it earlier this year rather than bother with trying a new one.
Summary: After four years of great service, I think this PSU has finally had it. As of June/2012, I have been experiencing power issues where the PC will not load past POST and will fail to supply power to one of my graphics cards. Sometimes there does not appear to be an issue and sometimes there is.
Pros: Has been steady and reliable since I built my gaming PC in 2008. While I did experience some issues when playing around with over-clocking, which I dont really do anymore, when I left things at stock settings, I NEVER had an issue. My system is older and has only recieved upgrades to the CPU, MB ...
