Antec NeoPower 650W PSU

5 May 2008
  • Summary: Antec has a long history of producing quality power supplies, and the NeoPower 650 continues that trend.  Even when drawing a consistent 400 Watts of power the voltage lines remained steady. The temperate controlled PSU fan never was audible over other system components, even at full load. The PSU would be a great fit or users looking for a solid performer for the Med-High range system build. In short it’s another very affordable and reliable Antec power supply.
  • Pros: +Modular Cables, +Stable voltage rails, +Active PFC, +Low noise output, +Three 12V PSU rails
  • Cons: -Low number of SATA power connections

Antec NeoPower Blue 650W

  • Excerpt: I've looked at several Antec power supplies lately, and this time I'm looking at a new take on a Seasonic based platform introduced with the Truepower Trio line. Only this time, there are blue LEDs and it's modular. Come on in and join me to see if anything has changed about the platform.
