Antec High Current Pro Platinum 850 W

techPowerUp!
7 July 2014
  • Summary: The HCP-850 Platinum performed incredibly well overall, which comes as no surprise to me since it is based on a cutting-edge platform that only uses top-notch components, including top-notch Japanese capacitors. Antec is enjoying their cooperation with Delta and is actually the only company in the desktop PSUs space that has this privilege. This excellent product's only problem is probably the small price difference to its bigger brother, the HCP-1000.
  • Pros: Delivered full power at 45°C, Tight voltage regulation, Excellent ripple suppression, Efficient, Very high build quality, Japanese caps all over the place, Quiet operation, Fully modular
  • Cons: High price (at the time I reviewed the unit, you could buy the HCP-1000 Platinum for an additional $15), No user's manual

Antec High Current Pro Platinum 850W

HEXUS
4 April 2014
  • Conclusion: Through the course of this review we have established that Antec charges a reasonable premium for its High Current Pro Platinum PSUs when compared to other similar supplies on the market. You can purchase a 1,000W Platinum-rated supply for the same price as the Antec 850W, but there's a valid reason for premium pricing this time around. Antec uses some of the finest technology available from Delta Electronics.

Antec High Current Pro 850w Unboxing

XSReviews
28 July 2011
  • Conclusion: Not a massive ammount I can write here, this is just an unboxing. It’s a pretty fully featured PSU in terms of cabling, the construction is solid and its 80+ gold certification is validated by Ecos. I will get an oscilloscope soon I promise.

Antec High Current Pro 850W

lilireviews.com
23 October 2012

Antec High Current Pro HCP-850W

awardfabrik.de
15 October 2012
  • Conclusion: Das Antec High Current Pro HCP-850W macht einen guten Job.

Test: Antec High Current Pro 850W

Hardwareluxx
15 February 2011
  • Summary: Das 850 Watt starke High Current Pro von Antec konnte im Test überzeugen.
