Summary: The power supplies were running at 75% capacity at all times. None of them lasted longer than 30 days before physically burning. Antec doesn't make good products anymore. Additionally their RMA service is a nightmare.
Summary: Only few days active upon exchange. Amazon had a small oops sending me a used or refurbished item with multiple missing cables. As a fair trade they expedite it and made it right before I could find time to reship old back to Amazon. You beat me on the race Amazon but well both satisfy as far as fair trade. Bios found stable power supply. Fan off PSU is silent to non existing quiet. Fair retail price for what materials it came with.
Summary: I have used Antec ATX power supplies for over 15 years. They are super reliable, as the 15 or so I have installed are still working perfectly. I expect that this HCP-1000 will provide the same level of reliability.
Summary: THIS is the best PSU I have ever owned out of 11 in total. 4 rails of 40AMP on a 850W is unheard off!!! I hooked it up to 4770K CPU with Asrock Extreme4 mobo, 6fans and aH100i cooler, and out of the wall socket in idle was only pulling 33Watt in stock and 44Watt f 4.7Ghz on a Watt-Meter. On an older Q9650 Hi-OC machine it dropped the idle Watts from 184W to 139W, Awesome!!!
Pros: SUPREME!!! THE BEST PSU PERIOD. (everything about this PSU is top notch)
Summary: This more than capable PSU fits beautifully into many cases, as it's not terribly long like some others in it's class. The efficiency capability at 94% plus is awesome. Runs cool and quiet, and the cable design is well thought out. Running it in an E-ATX case and all cables are long enough to comfortable run beneath the board and back out.
Summary: I only purchased this power supply because the 850 watt was unavailable and this was the same price so I went ahead and purchased the 1000 watt unit. Way more than I need so I will or should never be short of power. Again I have always used Antec power supplies and never had issues with them.
