Summary: Can't say enough about this power supply. Have had it in service over two years and still going strong. One of the best from Antec I have ever owned! If you want strong and reliable, this is your PSU.
Pros: Very solid power supply. Voltages very steady. Enough power to run SLI with top end cards
Summary: This power supply has worked perfectly in a machine that has an overclocked to 4.5GH AMD 8 core, 5 hard drives, 2 DVD drives and a main SSD Drive. Power has not been either a problem or even a consideration with this PSU.
Summary: Overall, I highly recommend the Antec HCG PSU line.
Pros: The quality and build of this PSU upholds ANTECs name as a quality parts manufacturer. It is solid in construction, provides stable and reliable power, and has features I consider a must have for any PSU. The output current easily handles my high end gaming system based on AMD technology, creates...
Cons: The only drawback, in my opinion, is that the PSU is not completely modular. In particular, the ATX 12v/EPS 12v connector and the main motherboard 20+4 pins ATX connector cables are built in. I would have preferred modular cables for these. The split design of the built in cables can make it diff...
Summary: This is a good PSU for someone who needs the power and doesn't care about it being Semi-Modular.
Pros: For the price point it delivered what I needed. I running 2 R9 390's along with 1 SSD and 3 HDD's with several case fans, and an i5-4690k OC'd to 4.2 with no issues. Great power performance delivered. Also i found it to be rather quiet in my case and the fan glow is a nice touch.
Cons: Why Molex 4-Pin connectors? Each of the SATA cables had a Molex 4-Pin connector on it, such a waste of space and cable, I was fortunate enough to have case space to hide them but its time to retire that legacy product.
Summary: Overall a great PSU and that I got for a great price on sale ($69.99), Would recommend and use again.
Pros: Semi-Modular is great, having just the power cables not modular is fine as you will need them anyway. Good Power, Good amps, Two 12v rails, Easy to install, looks great. Antec has always been very reliable for me and this one has meet my expectations as well.
Cons: Wires a tab bit stiff making cable management a bit more work.
