Summary: TV was fairly easy to set up and has a nice, clear picture. The antenna that came with it was adequate, but purchased an additional antenna and service is even better. Purchased in case of hurricanes and luckily haven't had to press it into service for real, yet! The only negative for all the new digital portables is not being able to use batteries. Cannot recharge if you have no power! Part of the decision to purchase this model was that it also came with a car charger.
Summary: Overall this 9 inch portable tv is just ok. Picture is average & sound is way below average (you'll need external speakers). It's pretty good looking tv as it's relatively thin and feels sturdy. Two big cons - Cannot turn off unit with remote (there's a small heard to reach switch on left panel of tv) & I find the screen too glossy (lots of glare). All in all, average tv but good value.
Summary: I figured I would have trouble getting reception since all our tv stations are at least a 100 miles away, and I was right. I had to wait til I went out of town to see how this worked. In a bigger town with stations, it works fine and has a good picture. So, I'm not going to be able to use it for whenever the weather knocks out our dish picture, but I can use at other times, so I'm happy with it. If you live in a rural area, you might want to get a weather radio instead.
Summary: Nice little portable tv, this would be perfect for taking camping. The picture and sound are both surprising good, but as small as the tv is it will probably only be used on occasions such as for camping or during power outages.
Summary: My husband hooked it up and we got 9 digital channels with the included (small) antenna; if he connected it with the included cables we would get more channels but it would be sitting next to our beautiful 37" flat screen so what's the point? The picture is okay. For this amount of money, I'd rather buy a great emergency radio and a rechargeable Coleman lantern if my primary use is for emergencies, or a small LCD television for watching TV.
Summary: I am PROFOUNDLY thankful to be a part of the amazon Vine program. It has allowed me to review products and books that otherwise I probably never would have attempted to purchase...however, that is of course tempered on occasion with a product that sometimes does not live up to the advertised potential. This is one such product, I'm afraid.
Summary: Excellent picture quality. We live about ten miles from Tampa and reception is tedious sometimes. Had to buy a bigger antenna. Will use this screen primarily for use during hurricanes and power outages.
