Summary: This review is not complete and nor is it fair as I could not get a signal in the woods where I live. Maybe it would work in a metro area or a developed suburb but not in my neck of the woods. Unfortunately I had to return this well-priced portable because no one could help me figure out why I could not get a signal. End of story!
Summary: A great 7" LCD that works fine with cable, but poor antenna reception (to be expected). I use it as an external LCD monitor for video recording with an HD camcorder and it's terrific in this role because it provides a 16:9 aspect ratio screen for HD (High Def) recorders, but it can also work with SD (Standard Def) too. If you want to spend $350 or more for for an external LCD video monitor go ahead, but for less than $80 this little gem is a steal!
Pros: Clear Picture, Easily Portable, Good Sound, Great Value
Summary: Price and portability a plus. and at work I am close to TV towers and that is where I use it to catch Dallas Cowboy games. At home I can barely get a signal so if you are a long way from towers you may need a amplified antenna to use with this.
Pros: Clear Picture, Easily Portable, Good Sound, Long Battery Life, Reception So So
Summary: Received as a gift. Read the manual and it doesn't cover "no database" anywhere. So far this tv hasn't done a thing except leave the 'no database' error on. Have tried many different scans in the menu area, and nothing has worked, [...] FRUSTRATING to say the least.
