Summary: i enjoyed this product just as i expected hd shows very clear as well as screen size fits my purpose im glad that i purchased the haier hlt71, one of the main ups about the haier is it has a built in battery so no more going out buying batteries know some times we tend to leave some thing on great thing about this portable hd tv is that it has an automatic turn off if it is not in use for a period of time..
Summary: I bought this TV as a screen to review my digital photos while I'm on the road. For this purpose the TV is almost useless since the resolution is so low, but as a TV it's terrific. I live in a high rise with a clear line of sight to the Empire State Building so reception is excellent even without an antenna. The unit was purchased used without a remote so I'm unable to utilize all features.
Summary: I don't use the television portion, I use it more as a monitor, which works great. My primary use is outside and this is where the battery is the main reason I purchesed the Haier. Very light, clear bright screen, and very affordable.
Summary: I use this mainly as a monitor to play classic video games and watch some tv. Digital tv reception is a bit buggy on cable, once all "available channels" (non encrypted) are scanned, several of them are just blank with nothing on them, you need to remove them manually else you'll get dozens and dozens of empty blank channels, an average digital tv would skip those and keep only the ones with programming, also a handful of channels don't even show up on the list (OPB...
Summary: Bought this as an exact replacement for one I have. Thought it was broken (no sound), but it turned out to be the cable box. So, now I have two, and they are wonderful. I have one in the bathroom for the wife to put her makeup on watching the morning news. We used the other one plugged into a portable dvd player (two screens) on a long trip a while back. Great tv that gets the new digital signals.
Summary: We purchased this TV because where we live, we experience hurricanes, lose power, and have no access to news. With this Tv, we can get news without dealing with cable or satellite channels. Haier has a good reputation, and after reading the reviews here on Ebay, I decided on this brand. I was truly amazed at what a great reception we got, and how many channels.
I own four of these TVs, and would buy a couple more, if needed.

Summary: I have four of these puppies. I use two above my computer monitor, for security cameras and TV feed from my DirecTV sat receiver. I have one above main TV for security cam feed, and use the forth one for line/coax/signal testing. If I could find a couple more at a really good price, I'd buy more. It has a remote, and for the four units I own, the remotes are NOT interchangeable. Which is great for my applications.

Summary: Do not purchase this TV. I have one and it says NO DATABASE everytime I turn it on. That means that I need to do a channel scan each time I want to use it. I talked to a customer service rep. from Haier and, because I don't have the sales receipt, they won't help me with this issue. I would suggest that you do some research on other TV brands and make your purchase based on not only price, but TV quality and service after the sale.
Great Image for an outboard monitor. TV during power outages is the gravy.

Summary: I purchased this Television for its small screen. It is to be used with a Karaoke Player that has no monitor screen. This does the job very well. As for some complaints on TV reception, the antenna is minimal. The large antenna in my attic provides quality signal for 68 "local" channels. (tower is 55 miles away) I can use it during hurricane season during power outages. I have several good 12v batteries to withstand power outages.
Summary: great shipping, tv really needs a better antenna for reception. The sound really does not get loud enough but when you do get a picture it is crisp and very watchable. This is a great investment in case of bad weather that knocks out power to your home. At least you can see emergency procedures on tv.
