Summary: I personally did not get any decent reception at all on this little unit. And that is with the major stations in this area being a mere 20 miles away. I see where many others here seemed to have acceptable results with this TV in various places. But if you live in the northeast, be aware that for me it was a total flop. I will note that I was able to return this unit for a full refund without any hassel. Kudos to the company for that...
Summary: I bought one of these for my wife, based on the reviews here. This is a great little TV. We're using it in the basement of a commercial building, and reception is exceptional. Programming it was a bit of a pain, but once it's scanned for channels, it is does a remarkable job. And the reception and picture quality are brilliant. Just read the manual. Highly recommended.
Summary: Unit used for church as part of video/sound system (A/V booth operator's use before projection to multimedia projector & wall screen). For the function and economical price, how can you match it? Works well, adequate picture.
Summary: This LCD TV does a great job in a small space. The tuner works well (using coaxial cable connection) and the sound is much better than expected. The battery holds a charge for several hours. Very nice overall!
Summary: Picture is good. Reception is fairly minimal without cable hook-up, which is the point. 2-4 local stations, max., but I imagine that is a consequence of where I live more than a product defect. ?? Perfect size (small). I agree with many other reviews in that being able to turn unit on/off with the remote (or at least in a more accessible spot on the unit) would add to convenience.
Summary: Unfortunately, I could only get one station (compared with a Casio I used to have that could receive seven or eight). Because I live in south Florida and really need a portable battery tv, I had to return it to the store. Another beef: the instructions to set the programming are practically non-existent and certainly not user-friendly.
Summary: The TV looks nice and comes with a remote but it wouldn't pick up any stations at our cabin (no electricity) in the woods. I think it has to be hooked up to an exterior antenna. Other reviews said it worked great when hooked up to a cable line. I returned it with no problem.
