Summary: My first impression is that it is a good radio, a step above most of my other portable am/fm receivers. However the sound quality is no better than my Tivoli Pal which does sound good, but has a smaller speaker. I did expect a hair of better sound with a larger speaker. I compromised a little on sound for the blue tooth speaker function combined with a radio. Positives - 1. Bluetooth. 2. External jacks are well thought out.
Summary: This is my second Trivoli radio. This model offered the Blue tooth feature which works perfect with my iPhone tones. The sound is rich and amazing for a compact radio. The sound reminds me of the old fidelity stereos, I recommend this to anyone who loves their music.
Summary: This stereo is of high quality and it looks great. Everything works pretty well, but the radio dial is difficult to read, making finding a specific channel more time consuming than it ought to be. In addition, there is some bluetooth interference that makes an odd humming noise between songs. Even with these drawbacks, this is s great little stereo that I would purchase again.
Summary: Update I've been using this great little radio in my kitchen for the past three months, and I have to say it's just excellent. The audio quality really impresses me. It's rich and warm, and sounds far superior to any tabletop radio I've ever owned. Obviously it won't replace a full audio component system, but for what it is -- a small radio -- the sound is great. The rotary dial is cool.
Summary: I really enjoy listening to this radio but, it tends to float from stations and I have to go and re-set. I wish it was digital and I really wish it had AM radio. I miss my favorite talk show. But, the sound is great.
Summary: While it may only be a single channel (one speaker) this radio is great! It fills a room. I bought it for my office and have to keep it at the very lowest possible setting because of how well the speaker projects the sound. The Bluetooth is nice, but honestly, I don't use it.
Summary: First, this thing looks awesome. Very small and lightweight but excellent construction. The power chord is VERY long, which is great when I want to move it outside or away from the kiddo. The FM radio antennae that comes with it is long and kind of annoying because you have to consciously move it so you don't walk on it; plus its ugly. As mentioned in other reviews, there is not an AM external antennae but I haven't had an issue with reception.
Summary: Workmanship is excellent! Ergonomically, I feel the pilot and tuning lights should be above the volume and selector knobs. This would make viewing and tuning much easier. Likewise, I would place the sector knob first and the volume knob second. This seems more logical to me, but other users may feel differently. Some things are subjective, so this is not criticism.
Pros: Good physical size. The product looks fantastic! Good value
Cons: No cons for me, but that being said, this comment is for those who do the final inspection. The unit I received had the volume turned to full value. This was quite startling upon initial turn. I certainly wasn't expecting that. Hey, turn it down before you put it in the box!
