The Sony SRF-M85W is a slim portable player that allows users to carry it around the arm or waist with an armband or belt clip. It comes with S2™ Sports Clip Style headphones and allows portability of up to 36 Hours (AM reception with Sony Alkaline Batteries, up to 27 hours FM, TV and Weather Band) on the go. The Sony SRF-M85W is supported by headphones with 5 mW + 5 mW (@16 ohms) speaker output, and requires three “AAA” batteries or two 1.5V DC to operate. The unit has a clock, AM / FM / Weather digital tuning function (with a frequency range of AM: 530 - 1710 kHz; FM: 87.5 – 108 MHz; Weather Band: Ch. 1-7 and 25 (5 AM, 15 FM, 5 WB) memory preset channels), and is water resistance. It also has an LED display, a built-in ferrite bar antenna for AM tuning and headphone cord antenna for FM tuning. The Sony SRF-M85W also supports DX Switch, and has Mega Bass® Sound System. The unit comes with the MDR-W014 lightweight sports stereo headphones and an arm band with reflector.
