Summary: This a great little radio. Easy to use, easy on the battery. Good reception. The reason I ordered them is because they don't make them anymore. Not too many people listen to the radio anymore. I still do.
Summary: Has excellent FM reception, and stereo jack for headphones. I use it every night to fall asleep. My only criticism is that I had one that started sending a weaker signal to one earphone vs the other. Otherwise, it's a great radio, and you can't beat the price. Better reception than my $90 Grundig.
Summary: great little unit but it only worked for 33 days and it quit working. the radio comes on but when you tune for a station you get nothing. all you get is static on all the bands, am fm fm2 and weather. the really sad thing is amazon won't take it back because the thing broke about five days too late.
Summary: I'm an NPR junkie and enjoy listening to it on morning walks with my dog. I had a Phillips/Nike Sport radio for a decade or so that had great reception and sound quality. It was able to lock in on the strong, local FM signal and make it sound like I was sitting in the same room as the announcers.
Summary: As phones are dropping even FM radio support, this is the best AM/FM radio available, only uses a single AAA battery. For those that loves sports, or lives in area far from city coverage (I live in 3rd world country), this a must-have. Great reception, low interference, great sound.
Summary: The AM/FM radio works fine, sensitivity is good and presets are easy to use. The weather band sensitivity is not good, our hard wired weather band radio picks up the weather band without a problem so it is an issue with the sensitivity of the Sony not a reception issue because of where we live.
