Summary: 1"? paper cone speakers sound better than they should but absolutely fall off a cliff trying to play any bass at all. I'm not totally surprised but with the magic of tuned ports everyone seems to be employing these days, I expected a little better musicality.
Summary: Great transistor radio with a bonus feature. It doesn't sound great, but it is way better than a phone speaker. I keep it in my tool box, it is great in a pinch. It doesn't annoy clients while working in their home. I can listen to FM or podcasts from my phone. It lasts a long time on 2 batteries.
Summary: At last! A compact radio lacking nothing. Sony got this right as few manufacturers do. Here's what I like: (1) Both FM and AM bands (2) Great tuner, no drift (3) Compact, no larger than a 10K strap (4) Stereo speakers (5) Stereo head phone out (6) Audio in and audio out (7) Tuner light (8) Swing-out...
Summary: I like the audio quality and tuning quality better than the Sony ICF-S10MK2 Pocket AM/FM Radio. I attached my small portable mp3 and had no problems with the 3.5 mm port's functionality. I use rechargeable batteries so I do not have a problem that AC is not an option on this radio.
Summary: I am accustomed to having music play in the background while at work. Many would agree with me that music helps improve the working environment. That is, unless it keeps skipping or shutting down, spurring a mood that is quite the opposite.
