The Sony ICF-S79W is a weather band digital shower radio that has a unique easy-grip design that will not easily slip from your hand and can be set down on bathroom counter or other flat surface.

Features

The Sony ICF-S79W is splash resistant and therefore suitable to have in the bathroom, shower, spa or sauna. Besides that, it supports AM/ FM/ Weather band reception that provides easy tuning of all available AM and FM radio stations, plus audio up to the minute weather. In addition to that, the Sony ICF-S79W also has 20 memory random presets for one-button memory tuning to 5 AM and 10 FM radio stations along with 5 weather frequencies. Additionally, it also has an easy one button weather band select that provides weather information at the press of a single button. The Sony ICF-S79W has a supplied hanging strap that can be looped over a door knob or on the shower head extension. Other features include a built-in digital clock that has a large high-contrast display that shows current time and number of pre-set radio station. There are also easy-to-use controls located atop the radio for handy one-finger operation. Additional functions include countdown timer which times backwards from a time period set for keeping you on schedule, selectable automatic-off timer, and quartz synthesized tuner to provide the most accurate drift-free tuning. The Sony ICF-S79W also has large speakers and built-in ferrite bar antennas for AM, and wire antenna for FM.
