  • Summary: Hard to tune in stations and volume is ok up to about half and then totally craps out sound quality wise. I'll throw it in my tackle box. Guess I expected more.

Sangean SR-35

Michael Schwartz, Amazon
30 April 2014
  • Summary: This is a great little radio. Has superior full sound compared to the Sony ICF-S10MK2 with less hiss on AM. The AM band has great receive and sensitivity and is equal the the Sony. The 4 star rating is for the FM receive as it is easily overwhelmed by stations in the city, but away from the strong signals it works very well. This Sangean also has a nice multi-swivel extendable antenna that the Sony lacks.

very nice radio

  • Summary: My husband had a full size radio of this brand and loves it. I saw this on Amazon and thought I would buy that. It is a good little radio. I can pick a certain station in my house that my full size stereo can not get. Next test will be when I take it to work and try it there. I would recommend this radio. Very good sound and does come with headphones.

Touchy tuneing

Analog Nerd, Amazon
11 April 2014
  • Summary: I bought this low cost radio for my walks with my cat on a leash. I bring a three leg folding chair for her stops and a radio for talk shows with a book. My old radio had a clip and it would fall all the time. So I order the big FlexARMOR GPS case and now I can buy many pocket radios. May-be my ear-phone jacks will last longer if they stay put.

Very Disappointed

Harvey, Amazon

  • Summary: Bought this product after much research & had high hopes. At the retail price tag of $29.99 it's junk! Fortunately I got this one for $9.99 but turns out its not even worth that. Tuner is horrible, stations bleed all over the dial, very stiff tuning wheel. I bought a Sangean tabletop radio & very pleased with it. This unit is just horrible. Don't waste your money on this one.
