Summary: This works pretty much as advertised, sets itself, gets RDS, good sound. On the downside, not very many presets and the remote is totally useless. If you touch it to the radio and hold your breath, it might work, but don't count on it.
Summary: Everything about this clock radio is terrific, until you lay your head down on the pillow and you realize you cannot see the clock! I had to make a 3 inch wedge platform to raise the back in order to have the lcd screen visible to me laying down. Also, the brightness control only goes one way, so if you pass by the setting you want, you must go all the way around to set it properly.
Summary: I did not like the Dynamic Bass compensation whatsoever. I turned the Bass all the way to -5 and the Treble all the way to +5 and still had the Bass heavy sound. This may work out OK for certain types of music, but I listen to a lot of talk radio and it does not work at all well for talk radio. There should be a means of disabling the Dynamic Bass Compensation for talk stations. The Radio controlled clock did work, but not right off the bat.
