Summary: I bought this because I was unable to find a clock radio that didn't have terrible sound quality and really poor tuning discrimination. This radio does an excellent job on both. Since it is a clock radio, it would be a plus if it automatically adjusted for daylight savings time.
Summary: This radio has big sound in a smaller package. The bass and treble are adjustable. It was easy to set up. My husband loves the remote control. I like that the stations that are digitally equipped show the artist and song title. The display light is able to be dimmed.
Summary: I have had this for almost three years now. I bought it for my office. The sound is very good. My complaint is with the controls. Setting the clock is difficult, the scrolling wheel is really awful.
Summary: I've had this a week now and so far so good. It replaced my Ihome, which lasted 2 years. If you are considering buying this radio for your iPhone or iPod remember it has a 30 pin dock, you will need to buy a lightning adapter for newer iPods or iPhone 5, it works fine.
Summary: We live in the middle of nowhere. Radio reception inside the house is very tough. This Sangean radio almost did what we hoped it would do. Our favorite radio station is 90 miles away. It would not pick it up.
Summary: I was quite pleased to find that this clock radio was actually better than I had expected. In addition, I had priced this exact same unit at Amazon and 2 other sellers and Walmart's price was more than 50 dollars less!
Summary: Crystal clear FM reception even in a remote area over 60 miles from transmitter. Atomic clock synchronized in a few hours, but in the meantime I could use the manual setting. When tuned to one station, it even scrolls the current weather, the name of the station and the program then playing!
