This is the best portable radio I've ever owned and experienced

Summary: This is the best portable radio I've ever owned and experienced. You may ask why? First, my background. We are 2 hrs. driving time from Seattle and 1.5 hrs. from Portland. In other words, we live in Radio Hell. With an average radio we can only pick up local mediocre stations.
Summary: It gets great reception in my bathroom and that's saying something. Both AM and FM sound good. Even one of the weather channels works in there. That never happens. I love that it has a hard plastic retractable handle AND a removable strap handle. I also appreciate the flashlight on the side.
Summary: Awesome shower radio. I waited years before pulling the trigger on this thing just because I thought it was too expensive for a shower radio. But once you go through a couple of the cheaper ones, you can truly appreciate one like this.
Summary: I hung it on the wall with the adhesive plate, and use the power adapter on a GFI outlet. Its simple to program, well marked, nice buttons. Very versatile. Descent volume, but does not distort as much as some.
Summary: What a great little(?) radio. Nice fairly deep sound. There is a little wire antenna tied up in the battery compartment. You can untie it and let it hang to improve reception, but I only listen to two or three stations while in the shower and they seem to come in fine without having to use the...
Summary: This is a very nice radio. Here are my thoughts: 1) FM reception is good with the antennae wire in unwrapped. It arrived with the antennae wire rolled up and stored in the battery compartment. I tried listening with it this way but reception wasn't strong enough in my Chicago suburb home.
Summary: It's a very nice shower radio. The reception in the shower itself isn't the greatest but that is because it is in an area where reception is poor. I know it sounded great when it was in other places in the house.
Summary: Great radio. Works perfectly in the shower (adequate treble to provide understandability to the news with high ambient white noise from the shower). Good sensitivity. I've been using it for months and the battery life indicator still shows full; battery life not an issue - don't waste your money on...
Summary: This is a great example of some misdirected engineering. There are features like a flashlight and an alarm built in, while the ability to say "next song" to the connected Bluetooth device is not.
