Summary: I finally got my hands on the update of my Revo Heritage Radio a few weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised that not much had changed and so having played with the radio a fair amount I am happy to base this review almost entirely on my review of the original update. I am going to use the old review heavily (ie copy and paste it) and update it where necessary as this is more of a tiny update to an already brilliant product.
one of my best investments, no other internet radio comes close.

Summary: for the past couple of months, i've been searching for a new bedside radio. i've tried and tested Pure One Flow Portable Music Streaming System with DAB Digital/FM/Internet Radio - Black Kitsound Surfer 1.2 Internet Radio - Black Hama IR200 Internet Radio Revo Axis Internet/DAB/FM Clock Radio with iPhone/iPod Dock and 3.5-inch Touchscreen - Black but all have been gone back after failing to tick some/all of the required boxes.
Summary: We're a family that love radio and have just discovered the joys of internet radio. This is our third digital radio purchase and the best of the bunch. The Heritage G2 combines a ridiculous number of features, everything from DAB and internet radio, to iPhone docking and even streaming music from your computer. The Heritage sounds great, which you'd expect from a radio that costs as much as this, but what really strikes you is just how beautiful the design is.
Summary: Had this Radiio just three days, had to tell people how great this is. First of all it looks Great and most of all it sounds Great! I have had most makes of sound and have spent a few £ on different types over the years. I am a pensioner so it is a lot of years! I have at the moment a few Bose units so I hope you trust me when I say the sound on this Revo unit is very good for this type of unit.
Pros: Looks great, easy to set up & use. Connected easily to my network via lan cable, streams internet radio or music from my Mac without any fuss. Haven't used the ipod dock yet, no need with so many other ways to play music on it. I've got mine in the kitchen and it sounds really good. Not hifi good, but easily good enough for me.
Cons: File structure from USB memory stick playback a bit messy. I had intended to copy music files to a 16gb stick and leave that in the radio rather than stream music files from my Mac, but the menu and file naviagtion is much cleaner playing from the Mac. If streaming from itunes you'll need a media server add on on your PC/Mac (as itunes doesn't have one as standard). I downloaded logitech media server to my Mac & it runs fine - this isn't a criticism of the Revo radio,...
