... money spent as the quality and the look is excellent. I like the controls on it

Jacquie Avis, Amazon

  • Summary: Well worth the money spent as the quality and the look is excellent. I like the controls on it, makes it really user friendly, and of course great DAB sound. The charge lasts absolutely ages before you need to charge again.

Works okay now

anonymous, Amazon
27 December 2013
  • Summary: Bought as Christmas present for other half. He likes it a lot and finds it easy to use but only 3 stars because we had to send 2 radios back before we got one that worked properly - very disappointing for a product from a company as well known as PURE.

  • Excerpt: I received this radio as a gift in 2010 and can honestly say that I think it's fantastic! Because I live in quite a small flat, I wanted something that wasn't going to take up a huge amount of space and would fit snugly into my kitchen. I wasn't disappointed with the Pure One Mini.
  • Pros: Good price and sound quality
  • Cons: Tricky to change the station

Mains Wire Isn't Robust

A. Arundel, Amazon
8 April 2012
  • Summary: I was disappointed with the quality of the mains lead supplied with this radio. The cable is the thickness of a charger for a mobile phone rather than a normal domestic mains cable. This meant that the cable broke where it met the moulding of the radio socket plug.

  • Excerpt: I have a Pure One Digital radio that I use when I'm working from home. It's a really simple design that even the most stubborn analogue radio user like me can get the hang of in no time.
