Excerpt: I love music and I would always choose to have the radio on instead of the television. Radio has changed a lot since I was little and when digital radio was created, I jumped on the band wagon as soon as I could with my beloved PURE Evoke 1s Digital Radio.
Excerpt: I bought this for my Dad purely because he hates technology but loves the radio, so I thought I would upgrade him a little for his birthday, I am so glad I did because he has ranted and raved about this ever since and to be honest he has a fair point, it is a nice piece of kit when it comes to...

Summary: I've got the Tempus-1XT (same radio, but mains only). Had it a few years, and it's increasingly unreliable. It loses the time (the clock just stops), and the alarm function packs up (which isn't very clever when you want a radio alarm to wake you up in the mornings), it loses the presets, the...
Excerpt: After breaking my TV and waiting for it to be repaired, I decided I needed a little radio. I really liked the style of the Roberts Retro ones, but couldn't justify the price and was worried that they were more 'style over substance'.
