Summary: Use it in the kitchen. Takes a few seconds to find each station. Volume incremental steps are large so one click makes big difference. Sound quality is good but we do live within 2 miles of the transmitter! Recommeded.
Summary: If I wanted another medium size dab radio I would still buy this one but there are a few niggles: people have commented that it is bass heavy and i would agree with that. To some extent one can compensate using the bass/treble settings. If you use the aux input e.g. with an mp3 player then this is not available - you have to set the equalizer on the mp3 player.
Summary: Disappointed , the sound was distorted this was not caused by weak reception(my area has good DAB reception) I was sure it was caused by either loose /securing of the speaker baffle the cause, however I liked the design and features and decided to have an exchange .
Summary: I found the same irritant as another reviewer that there is a time delay in switching on and off and the appropriate response but otherwise I am very happy with the sound quality (I listen mainly to voice) and its reception coverage. It doesn't lose the signal and I love not having to cart the plug everywhere to save batteries.
Summary: This radio had got great reviews on here and other sites so we bought it as a present for our Mum so she can use the radio outside. She can now easily tune into loads more digital stations. It looks good too.
Summary: Great sound quality & features, easy to setup & use. Looks good with a clear display that dims after a few seconds once controls are not being used. Volume control is rotary but steps in clicks & volume seems to jump too much from one click to the next, just at the level wanted for background music; so ends up either too quiet or to loud for my desired level. But overall very pleased with the purchase.
Summary: This is a good looking radio, well built and generally intuitive to use. The sound is good - clear, with options to change the bass and treble. I use this radio chiefly while in bed and this is where it has its only drawback. While the display is clear (with backlight options - so that the light soon dims in the dark) and pre-set buttons are easy to use, there is a problem with the volume control.
Summary: HAve had this radio for best part of 2 months, setting up is easy, the pre-set stations simple to establish, the sound is very good (especially Radio 2), scrolling text on screen, bass, treble controls available, FM stations and ability to attach AUX (MP3) to the system. The design is modern with a hint of 60s / 70s retro, the build quality is good, it feels solid. Unfortunately, after switching it on one day, I noticed the screen was blank.
Summary: I've had this for a couple of months and am very happy with it. it kicks a out an impressive volume and very nice sound quality. Instructions, menus and functions are easily grasped.. all very intuitive and its a stylish little number.
