PURE Elan II

The PURE Elan II is a stereo digital radio with full Band III and FM reception. It is a ETSI EN 300 401 compliant device and capable of decoding all DAB transmission modes 1-4 up to and including 192 kbps. The unit also supports FM RDS and RadioText, and has frequency ranges of DAB Band III 174–240 MHz and FM 87.5–108 MHz. The PURE Elan II also features two full-range 3" drive speakers, 2.5W RMS per channel; 5W RMS total audio output and supports the following input connectors: 12V DC power adapter socket (230V adapter supplied), Mini USB connector for software upgrades, 3.5mm Line in for auxiliary devices. It also has a 3.5mm headphone socket output connector. The PURE Elan II requires a 230V AC to 12V (0.8A) DC external power adapter, and has a power consumption of 0.9W on standby and 2.9W on average operation. The unit can also be powered by a ChargePAK C6L (not supplied) battery when away from an outlet. It measures 280 wide x 161 high x 88 deep.

Features

The Élan II features ReVu for DAB pause and rewind, with quality construction and a traditional design with a modern twist. Designed with a black satin-touch finish, anodised aluminium fascia, turned aluminium controls and chromed handle with rubberized grip, the Élan II supports two 3" full range stereo speakers and can be made portable with the optional rechargeable ChargePAK or standard C Cell alkaline batteries. The ChargePAK™ provides users up to 35 hours of portable DAB listening. Users can also connect an iPod/MP3 player or portable CD to the unit for a more varied choice of music. Other features on the PURE Elan II includes pause and control scrolling text, giving users time to note down web addresses, competition phone numbers or song titles; ability to browse stored scrolling text at convenience; pause and rewind live radio for up to 15 minutes; supports a tone or radio alarm; add new features as they become available via USB; adjustable bass and treble; countdown kitchen timer, clock with sleep timer, 50 presets (DAB or FM) and a 3.5mm stereo headphone socket to enjoy music in private.
