Summary: I bought this exceptional product some time ago. I used it all the time. It was superb. Then...the LCD screen began to fade. I couldn't see which station I wanted to listen to. I couldn't see to change between radio and other sources. I contacted help team and after lengthy email string they confirmed the LCD is not functioning any longer (!). I complained saying it (LCD) is as crucial to a radio as a steering wheel to a car. They should replace it at no cost. Forget it.
Summary: I bought this machine for £255 which is alot of money and I expected it to last for years and years - 28 months later, just suddenly dies on me and after reading quite a few forums, this appears to have happened to alot of people. My warranty is 5 months out of date, therefore, there is nothing that PURE can do about it! I have to pay to get this fixed myself. The product when working is fantastic and had an amazing sound, I am really disappointed.
Summary: I received this item 4 weeks ago Beautiful radio, well made with eye for detail. The sound is good that is what you would expect from something is this price range. The picture displayed gives you the impression that it is bigger than it actually is in real live. I'm not happy with the user-friendliness (hence only 3 stars), I feel that Pure has certainly let me down here because 1.

Summary: Straight out of the box, the Pure Avanti Flow feels a good weight, it feels substantial and well built, and it looks great. It's relatively small, just slightly on the large side for a bedside alarm clock, although, yes, I would consider it for that use. However, it's great for a kitchen, or an open plan apartment/small sitting room. I enjoy cooking and spend a bit of time in the kitchen, and I find radio/music the perfect accompaniment.
Summary: I already have a PURE DAB radio and have been pleased with it's look, quality and sound. This time I wanted something for the kitchen and also a 40th birthday present for myself. It wasn't my first choice (perhaps a little bigger than I may have wanted) but after reading reviews, and following up with hands on research in Comet, it was one of only a few that supported my 'elderly' ipod classic 30Gb and had good sound.
Summary: After a long period of reviewing and looking, I finally took the plunge and purchased a Pure Avanti Flow from Amazon and I must admit that I am really surprised. I had some misgivings whilst reading some of the on-line reviews and now can say that I feel they were wrong. The unit is really pretty easy to setup, if you know how to set a wireless address you are going to be fine. he actual wireless entry is a bit long winded with the remote, but you can get the job done.
Summary: I bought this for my daughter to replace her ageing mini hi-fi system which did not have an iPod dock nor a DAB radio. For such a small feature packed unit it is absolutely brilliant with great sound from all sound sources. As a point of interest, some others have stated that it is not compatible with an iphone [Even though the pure website lists it as being so]- they are wrong!
Summary: I live in rural Scotland and the DAB revolution by-passed us! We have one digital radio and, weather pemitting, we can pick up signals for stations in one room...bit cramped if we are all in eating our porridge!!! FM offers us 4 stations- so, as you can see we are a bit limited. After doing some research on internet radio and purchasing a refurbished 80 gb Ipod for all our MP3 files ( I have Walkman which sounds better on the move but is limited in terms of connectivity)...
Excerpt: "...end we decided on the Pure Avanti, and bought it for £279.95. I had not planned on getting internet radio, and simply chose this model for its classy good looks and it's fantastic sound quality. '''~~The Design~~ ''' The Avanti looks fantastic! Sleek black and chrome, it is triangular and I think a beautiful design. Pure are the only company that I have found that make triangular radios, and I had a corner shelf built so that it is tucked away ...
