Summary: This thing REALLY ROCKS!!!! The sound is far better than that of the the earlier Logitech that I replaced with it. Setup is a walk in the park. It is so intuitive that I had finished programming it before I remembered to look at the manual.
If you own a Squeezebox system grab this radio while you can

Summary: I have been running a Squeezebox ecosystem since 2009. It includes a (unbelievably over engineered all-in-one Internet radio, but inexplicably does not run on battery); a with an extra Receiver (lucky to get the latter as Logitech stopped selling it separately shortly after I purchased), and running...
Summary: I was devastated when Logitech came out with this thing and they forced you to use a Windows or Mac based music server designed by the Logitech Techo Thugs, not the beloved Linux and NAS based servers I have been using for over 10 years since back in the days of Slimserver. I refused to buy one.
Summary: I bought this radio just before Christmas. I read all the reviews and the specifications of the radio, and it sounded like the right radio for me. The radio comes packaged as if it was a apple product very well done. The initial set up was very easy and straightforward.
Summary: I researched extensively before purchase. Having had friends that have the Squeezebox, but too cheap to make the heavy investment, I was pleasantly surprised by the introduction of the Smart Radio.
Summary: Purchased this so my mom could access internet radio (especially Pandora) without having a smart phone. Very user friendly for non-tech savy older adults and the portability is great. All you need to make it work is wireless internet.
Summary: I bought two for my house and business in the Yucatan. They work wonderfully well with the wifi signal. They also serve as very good speakers when hooked up to a laptop to watch movies. The sound is extraordinarily good.
Summary: This radio is very good, and its WIFI range is as good as my iPad Air. The tone is good, but of course, it isn't an audiophile's dream. It has very good volume, but if you crank it to full volume there is some base distortion. Who wouldn't expect that from a small speaker in a small desktop radio.
Summary: We were looking for something to put in the kitchen. Since we don't have a space for TV, we decided to get a radio. It has radio stations from all over the world. It's fantastic. Worth every penny.
Summary: Bought this for my wife who likes to listen to conventional radio. She is very happy with this, and it's now sitting prominently on our kitchen counter. Easy to set up and use, unobtrusive and nicely designed. Believe it or not the main thing she likes is the large "tuning" knob.
