The Grundig Yacht Boy 80 is a portable world receiver with AM double super technology. The Grundig Yacht Boy 80 measures 18.4 cm x 12 cm x 4 cm (W x H x D) in dimension and weighs approximately 510 g without batteries. It also comes with a genuine leather protective case as well as a set of stereo eaerphones.

Features

The Grundig Yacht Boy 80 can support ranges of 14 x SW from 1.70 to 29.90 MHz, FM, MW (AM), and LW, with a station memory of 9 each. Besides that, frequencies and SW bands can be keyed in directly. Other features include single band reception (SSB), dual conversion and PLL frequency synthesizer. There is also a local/ DX switch, and also a multifunction LC display that displays the time, frequency, quartz clock, stereo signal display, tuning display and battery control. The Grundig Yacht Boy 80 has the ability to display 2 universal times. In terms of the amplifier, it has a nominal output and a music output of 0.40 W, with switch and 2 step tone balance. The Grundig Yacht Boy 80 also comes with an antenna and 3.5 mm stereo headphones jack. In addition to that, the Grundig Yacht Boy 80 runs on 4 mignon cell batteries of 1.5 V each. It can also operate of an external power supply of 6 V.
