Features

The Grundig Cosmopolit 7 WEB has an Ovation 2i feature that allows you to enjoy an unlimited range of online radios in Magic Fidelity quality which is Grundig’s unique sound system. Besides that, it also has an audio streaming (UPnP client and shared folders) function of music stored on PC and supports internet radio via v-tuner. The Grundig Cosmopolit 7 WEB has DAB and RDS tuners, as well as FM ranges with 10 presets each. Additionally, it has a USB port. The Grundig Cosmopolit 7 WEB offers an entirely new entertainment dimension using a WLAN connection that offers access to an unlimited range of more than 10,000 online radio stations as well as music stored on your PC. In addition to that, the Grundig Cosmopolit 7 WEB also has alarm, snooze and sleep timer functions. Other features include radio data system (RDS), programme type evaluation (PTY), and PLL synthesizer. There is also a multi function LCD that displays the time, frequency and station name. In terms of the amplifier unit, the Grundig Cosmopolit 7 WEB has a nominal output of 1.20 W and a music output of 1.50 W. Connections include 802.11 b/g WLAN, RJ45 10/100 MBit LAN, line in (aux), and 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack. The Grundig Cosmopolit 7 WEB runs on an external supply of 230 V main voltage. The package includes a remote control and an external supply.

    No, It's impossible to switch off the light when the radio is on. You can try to put it in a place where the light won't disturb your wife or cover it with something.

    I have kept on looking for solutions to my problem, and I have found the solution: My Cosmopolit 7, the firmware's version had v.1.00 and there is a bringing up to date to v.1.17 in Grundig's WEB. I installed the version 1,17 in me radio and the menu has a new option of BRILLIANCE, with 4 intensities, in her 1, the screen becomes dark almost totally and totally the loudspeaker. I publish the solution in case some other user be in the same situation.
