Summary: The device arrived with a cracked screen. The unit was very difficult to set up. It was difficult to enter the network settings manually. My network does not broadcast the SSID for security reasons. The dials is small and difficult to work. The unit is small and cheaply made and not worth the cost, in my opinion. I returned the unit for a refund.
Summary: It did exactly as I hoped. I can listen to other stations, along with my SiriusXM on it. Sometimes after a while the Sirius will stop playing, and will not rebuffer. But I figure that is Sirius kicking me off, not the unit itself, because if you listen on a computer to Sirius, they occasionally have a pop up that inquires, "Are you still listening?" Failure to respond gets you the boot. I am still getting to know the receiver for now.
Summary: Internet radio boxes have been abandoned by Roku, and almost so by Logitech, so Grace is one of the few players left to offer this kind of product at a reasonable price. This unit does what it is supposed to do, and once it is set up it is very easy to use. It offers decoding for most audio streams, and provides an interface to paid subscription radio such as Sirius-XM (it remembers your password and userid). We have two Grace Solo units and both are working well.
Summary: I purchased this internet radio adapter for my 90 year old mother. She has wireless internet in her apartment and wanted to listen to french radio. The radio reception is not good where we live so I thought I would give this radio adapter a try. I first installed the adapter in my home and easily opened a free account with Grace using my computer. I then chose 5 french stations which I saved under the adapter's preset buttons.
inferior to squeezebox and logitech UE. I regret this purchase.

Summary: wifi signal was 50% when my logitech ue was 90%+ right beside it. It had to buffer internet radio about every second song (while the logitech ue didn't ever have to rebuffer). It kept losing access to the music files on a shared drive. It took over a minute to access a song from the server. If I had tested it in the first 30 days I would have returned no mater what. Unfortunately I had not tested it extensively before 2 months after purchase.
Summary: I have used a Roku Soundbridge 2000 for 7 years. My favorite radio station switched to AC3 format a few months ago and the Roku does not play that format. I've used the Grace GDI-IRA500 for 2 months now. I had hoped to put it out of sight in a closet with an amp and control with a computer or app, but that did not happen. It sits in my living room hooked up to an AudioEngine A5+ powered speaker system. Sounds great and it is a relatively compact system. Pros: 1.
Summary: It is easy to setup. It works well although I do not have accesses to some of USA based internet radio services from Canada. My only complain is just like other reviewer pointed out, because the tuning knob is too thin and too flat, you need to get used to for turning or pushing.
