Summary: I got a new office - needed another radio, but it HAD to have a remote so I can place the radio across the room by the window...and I can shut it off when the phone rings or a client comes in. Not sure WHY? it's so hard to find a radio with a remote anymore??? but after much searching I like this one well enough on Amazon and it was Prime too - hard to beat that. I like the digital tuning, but to be honest...I only have my one favorite Christian radio station on..
Summary: I am very happy with the radio, but the remote never worked and Amazon expected me to return the whole thing to get the remote replaced. No can do! My wife "needs" the radio. It was my Christmas gift to her. I threw the old one out. If I have to send this one back and there is no substitute radio, I'm in trouble. . . big trouble. Please just let me return the remote and give me another one.
Summary: This is a small compact radio that is perfect to keep in the kitchen. The sound quality is excellent. It doesn't have all the extra bells and whistles which I think makes it more reliable for what it does for a decent price.
Summary: One star is the default for any rating and having said that I wanted to like this radio, but the power cord (not shown in the product photos) was attached to a HUGE, black and ugly converter plug , and the remote did not work - and that is how the unit is powered on! So back it went, and the good news is the AMAZON return process was worthy of FIVE STARS, no complaints there at ALL.
Summary: We purchased this radio because we were looking for one with no static. It is great has a good sound. It is a little complicated to tune in the stations and the remote never worked but we didn't really need it.
Summary: There are several things that disappointed me about this radio. Although the FM stations come through loud and clear, unfortunately the AM stations do not. I listen to talk radio on AM. The base is so strong you cannot understand what the host is saying. There are no adjustment knobs to fix the problem. Another problem for me is the brightness of the clock. It will dim one level but that level is still too bright for me. Would I recommend this radio? No.
Summary: If you listen to AM 1000, good job, that is the only station that comes in no matter where this black box is positioned. This Radio is 100% a P.O.S. I regreat buying this as an office radio and use it as a box clock and nothing more.
Summary: I got two of these on special for $30 each. The sound is remarkably full for a small table radio. There is a bass reflex port in the back of the radio. The FM radio is sensitive enough to pick up most stations without noise -- even those classical stations which always seem to be of marginal strength in most radios. However, the selectivity and image rejection is terrible.
Summary: The Eton 100 has wonderful sound quality, great FM tuning, and lots of nice features, including a remote and the ability to interact remotely with an ipod. The problem is that this CLOCK/RADIO fails one task - the clock. The blue on blue display is completely illegible unless you are directly in front of it, and no more than 8 ft away. With the clock across the room, perhaps 10ft away, the only thing visible was a blue glow making it useless as a clock.
