Summary: The "sleep" function of the power button seems to have a mind of its own. Kind of irritating. And the little flap that holds the AA batteries in place is fragile, one little tiny end broken off means the batteries have no way of staying in.
Summary: I Remember the Solid, Tough, Well-Built, Grundig Radios from the past... This is not well built. All the knobs seem to be off center as if the main control board was not installed properly...The Knobs and Switches are cheap and have a cheezy silver paint on them that rubs off...It's not worth $30.
Summary: I have had this radio for about 2 years for the purpose of listening to FM radio. Its FM reception capabilities are mediocre at best compared to other FM radios I have owned, and it has trouble locking onto relatively strong FM signals.
Summary: Instruction booklet included with the Radio is very easily understood and begin by reading "How to turn on the Radio". I found the sensitivity is more than adequate and the options on this radio is more than my expectations for the price of the Radio. It is a "Deal".

Summary: I ordered the radio for my Grandsons birthday. We, He and I, took it out of the box together and the first thing that "popped" off was one of the knobs. Our disappointment was great. Not even properly out of the box and its falling apart.
Summary: Live in a rural area, and stations are hard to get clearly, especially on AM. The manual tuning lets me bring them in clearly, often several digits off from the published frequencies. Clear, deep sound, and battery life is outstanding. Much better than I expected for the price.
Summary: I bought this shortwave radio being very aware that it had some mixed reviews. I basically bought it because it looks a bit like a shortwave radio I had when I was a kid. Stupid, I know, but it's what I wanted.
Summary: An excellent rip of the Panasonic RF 2200 . I own a good RF 2200 and therefore was able to come to up with some very favorable comparisons for this S350DL. Is analogue (no memory saving or presets) with digital readout on screen and is a top performer.
