Summary: I purchased this to use at the gym, specifically to watch the television while on a treadmill. The dial is not digital and I find it very hard to tune in to the stations. I had another Coby with a digital tuner that was much more effective.
Summary: I was looking for a cheap portable radio to listen to music and ball games while I worked around the house. This seemed to fit the bill. While I realize that this was only a couple of dollars, I do expect it to work. Unfortunately, one of the clips holding the neck rope broke while setting it down on a table. Really! I cannot get one AM station to come in no matter what I try, where I stand, or how I postion it.
Summary: Aside from the generally tepid customer reviews of various Coby products, my first clue should have been the clearly visible scuffs on the face of the CX-7 when it was still safe inside the blister packaging. I opened the package anyway. My second clue was the cheap quality of the radio body, the tiny dial with only a few station numbers to guide your tuning. I liked the general design and the ear phones, though, so gave it a try.
Summary: they are all I expected and more. the only downside is that they start to hurt your ears if you wear them for a long time. other than that... the sound is great and the headphones are compact!
Don't buy this unless your favorite stations are strong ones

Summary: You get what you pay for, it's cheap in price and extremely cheap in quality. It only recieves the strongest stations. In a building the reception goes almost all static unless your next to a window. I finally got rid of mine and bought a pricier pocket radio with better reception.
Summary: I was surprised at the quality and clarity of this little unit. I work in a large building and it receives all the AM stations beautifully!!!! I would have been happy at twice the price! As usual, Amazon you're GREAT!!!!
