Summary: I purchased this October 2012 but didn't get to use it until July 2013. After playing a few cassettes, it started making people sound like minnie mouse. I tried cleaning the heads to no avail. I contacted the manufacturer since it was under warrantee but there has been no response. Too bad, I wanted to record several cassettes of my children talking. I bought a Sanyo Sportster MGR 87 at a garage sale and it works beautifully.
Summary: Not a great portable cassette player....but an okay one. But after having VERY BAD LUCK trying to purchase one of these units from retailers in my area....(compared to that experience), I am very happy with this item. I have bought 3 tape players from retailers in my city. The quality with these things are HORRIBLE! (The sound is bad....and/or they fall apart within a week....or they don't play at all!) But even worse...
Summary: This is the worst product. It is a piece of trash. Sound only in the right ear. Lots of static and very poor sound. The company and Amazon should be embarrassed at the quality of this product. I was very grateful that Amazon refunded me immediately.
Summary: I admit this isn't the world's greatest player. But my son is autistic, can't handle a cd, but loves listening to music cassettes and prefers this type player to all other options. We prefer it too, because whereas a radio makes noise when he pulls the earphone plug in and out, this one doesn't, so it's a good dexterity exercise as well. Unfortunately, these cassette players/radios are getting harder and harder to find and more and more expensive.
