Summary: For the record, this was my first portable DVD player so I can't compare this to any others. Maybe I just had bad luck. I had issues with this product from day one. There were times when it wouldn't load the DVD's at all or take longer than usual to load.
Summary: We bought this DVD player in April of 2009 and only use it for trips. So it has been used maybe a dozen or so times? It just recently stopped loading DVD's. The disk spins for a few seconds and won't load. We tried 6 DVD's and it was the same deal for each.
I should've just thrown my money out of the window

Summary: DO NOT BUY! This is the biggest piece of junk I have ever purchased. It stopped loading DVDs after just a few uses - the day the 90 day parts & labor warranty expired! I had the receipt and all of the paperwork, but it cost just as much to pay for the labor to have it repaired as it would for a new...
Summary: We purchased three of these for our children (ages 6-11). While it was a relatively inexpensive device compared to the Sony, we found out why. The batteries are very poor and do not hold a charge for anywhere near the advertised timeframes.
Summary: This player is advertised as "multi system" ie it should play eg NTSC (ie Region1/USA) and Pal (ie Region2/Europe) disks - however multi system to Toshiba means different format disks not multi region disks. It will not play discs bought in another region. Beware.
Summary: I am NOT an easy sell. I am very technical and if an item isn't up to snuff or par I will absolutely return it and return it fast! Well, as you can see I am writing this review after 30 days so it's doing a good job! I should really be as honest as I am particualr about things..
