The Toshiba SD-P2900 is a portable DVD player that measures 10.50 x 1.38 x 7.75 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 2.8 pounds. It supports playback of CD, DVD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, and DVD VR. It also supports playback of DivX, WMA, MP3, and JPEG.

The player features a 10.2-inch widescreen TFT active matrix color LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It has advanced picture controls for brightness, contrast, color and tint. The player also features digital cinema progressive scan with component outputs.

The portable DVD player is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery that lasts about 6 hours of continuous operation when fully charged. The player comes with a dual voltage (100-240V) AC adapter. Other accessories included in the standard package are a component video cable, AV cables, and an infrared remote control.

The SD-P2900 is equipped with built-in stereo speakers with DTS & Dolby Digital optical output. It has a 24bit / 192kHz audio digital-to-analog converter and settings for virtual surround sound.

Connectivity options of the Toshiba SD-P2900 include 1 composite video/audio input, 1 composite video/audio output, 1 digital optical output, 1 S-Video output, and 2 headphone jacks. It also has a 4-in-1 card slot for SD Memory Cards, Multi-Media Cards (MMC), XD Picture Cards, or Memory Sticks (MS).

Other features of the Toshiba SD-P2900 include picture zoom capabilities and its on-screen display that supports five different languages: English, French, Spanish, German, and Polish. The player is also equipped with Direct Digital Solution for directly transferring DVD video information to the LCD driver.
