The Toshiba SD-P1750 is a top-loading portable DVD player that measures 7.5 x 1.5 x 5.81 inches (W x H x D). It is powered by a battery that can be recharged either by the included dual-voltage external adapter or the car power adapter.

The player features a 7-inch TFT active matrix color LCD display that has a pixel resolution of 480 x 234 and an image aspect ratio of 16:9. It allows adjustments for brightness and color.

The SD-P1750 supports playback of DVD+R, CD, Video CD, CD-RW, DVD-RW, SVCD, CD-R, DVD+RW, DVD, and DVD-R media types. It also supports MPEG-4 and DivX digital video standards as well as WMA and MP3 digital audio standards. Apart from these, it allows for JPEG photo playback.

The portable DVD player is equipped with a 14-Bit/108MHz digital-to-analog converter. It features an audio system with a 192 kHz/24 bit converter and 2 built-in stereo speakers. The speaker has DTS and Dolby Digital Optical outputs and provides settings for virtual surround sound.

Among the connectivity options provided by the Toshiba SD-P1750 are 2 headphone jacks, 1 AV output mini jack, 1 AV input mini jack, and 1 coaxial digital output. It also has slots for 1 multi-media card, 1 SD memory card, and 1 memory stick.

Additional features of the SD-P1750 include modes for zoom and invert display and a multi-lingual on-screen display for English, French, Spanish, German, and Polish. The player comes with a remote control allowing users to control the portable DVD player at a distance.
