Summary: I have to be honest and say that this DVD player is not all that great....it does get the job done by playing DVD of course but the price was pretty high...I decided to go for it mainly because I thought the higher price tag would account for the better speaker quality...I was in fact wrong....I think the picture quality is ok....but I really don't think it justifies it's cost...
Summary: My wife uses the DVD player to review her YOGA training dvd's and is able to take and type notes on her computer. The Toshiba is easy to stop, pause and continue. It is easy to view and the 10.2 screen is great. I can't find anything that is not great!
Pros: Durable, Easy Controls, Good Picture, Good Sound, Lightweight, Long Battery Life, Portable
Summary: I got this DVD player for my elderly mother (who is terrified of DVDs, but who REALLY wanted to watch movies in the kitchen in the early morning hours). She found it so easy to use and operate that she's a real convert to DVDs now, and can enjoy her movies without disturbing my dad. I found that it wouldn't play a couple of my purchased DVDs (I still don't understand why), but overall, it performs beautifully and the picture and sound are fantastic.
Pros: Durable, Good Picture, Good Sound, Lightweight, Portable
Summary: Good Divx player as well as DVD player. Worked with DVD-R and CD media. Picture is very good but sound volume is low. Plan on using this with earphones. The batteries will not recharge while the unit is turned on. If the batteries are low they must be removed to use the unit on AC power.
